1. Who we are

MovieArchitect is operated by VidSeeds (“we”, “us”). Our website is moviearchitect.ai.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data — name, email, profile picture, and OAuth identifiers provided by your social login provider (Google, Apple, LinkedIn).
  • Project content — text you paste, screenplay analyses, character and environment descriptions, scene prompts, generated images, and generated videos.
  • Usage & billing — generation counts, minute usage, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser user-agent, session tokens, and timestamps (collected automatically for authentication and security).

3. How we use your data

  • To provide the MovieArchitect service: text analysis, AI image and video generation, movie assembly.
  • To manage your account, sessions, and subscription billing.
  • To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse of generation resources.
  • To improve the service through aggregated, anonymized usage analytics.

4. Third-party services

We share data with the following providers as needed:

  • xAI (Grok) — text prompts and images are sent to xAI for AI generation. See xAI's privacy policy.
  • Stripe — email and billing details for payment processing. See Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Google Cloud — PostgreSQL database hosting and Kubernetes infrastructure.
  • Cloudflare — CDN, DNS, and R2 object storage for generated media files.

5. Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Project content (including generated videos) is retained until you delete the project or your account. Billing records are retained as required by law.

6. Cookies & sessions

We use HTTP-only session cookies for authentication (via Better Auth). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You can delete individual projects from your dashboard. To delete your entire account, contact our support team.

8. Security

We use encrypted connections (TLS), secure session management, and access controls to protect your data. Generated media is stored in private cloud storage accessible only to your account.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the application or email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
