Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using MovieArchitect (“the Service”), operated by VidSeeds (“we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service description

MovieArchitect is an AI-powered movie generation platform. You provide text, and the Service analyzes it into a screenplay, generates images and videos using third-party AI providers (xAI Grok), and assembles the final movie using FFmpeg. The Service requires a subscription for continued use beyond a free trial.

3. Account & authentication

• You must sign in with a supported social provider (Google, Apple, LinkedIn).
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• Your account may be shared with VidSeeds if you use the same login provider. Billing for MovieArchitect is separate.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit content that violates applicable laws or third-party rights (copyright, trademark, privacy).
• Use the Service to generate illegal, harmful, deceptive, or exploitative content.
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or billing controls through automation or other means.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute the Service or its outputs for competing products.
• Violate the acceptable use policies of our AI providers, including xAI's terms.

5. Content ownership

• Your input — you retain ownership of text and images you upload.
• Generated content — AI-generated images and videos are provided to you for personal and commercial use, subject to the terms of the underlying AI providers.
• We do not claim ownership over your projects or generated content.

6. Billing & subscriptions

• Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You authorize recurring charges when you subscribe.
• Each plan includes a set number of generation minutes per billing period. Unused minutes do not roll over.
• You may cancel at any time through the billing portal. Access continues until the end of the current period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Service availability

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uptime. The Service depends on third-party AI providers and cloud infrastructure. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to AI generation failures, content policy rejections, or data loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the application or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
